What is “NEXT” all about?

The mission of Red Brush is to be a church who is “Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus Known“. We know that Jesus has given the church a mission to participate in what He’s doing in transforming people’s lives. In 2024 we shared the desire to reach the next person, the next family, and the next generation with the Gospel message! In anticipation of that mission, we seek to expand our current facility to accommodate future growth.

What is Red Brush planning to build?

To make room for more people, and to give various ministries more space to operate safely and efficiently, we have proposed the following project scope:
  • Addition of an expanded auditorium, designed to provide space for up to 700 people at a time.
  • Addition of over 6,000 square feet of lobby space, equipped with office space, conference/meeting room, expanded restrooms, and cafe space.
  • Renovation of the current auditorium to become Refinery Student Ministry space (funds will come from previous Legacy Project gifts)
  • Replacement of tile gym floor in Family Life Center with upgraded gym flooring for RB kids and Refinery Student use.

What will this project cost?

Currently, we estimate an “all-in” cost of $3.5 Million to complete the NEXT building project.

How much has Red Brush raised to date?

Back in October 2024, we asked people in our church to make 3-year commitments above and beyond their normal giving to go towards this project. We were blown away when our church generously pledged $1.1 Million in that single day. Currently, we have had nearly $1.3 Million pledged, with additional gifts coming in outside of commitment fulfillment. Additionally, through the stewardship of previous leaderships, we have around $600,000 saved back to go towards the expansion! God has been faithful through the giving and stewardship of so many!

What will happen if we raise more than the $3.5 Million target / What will happen if we don’t raise $3.5 Million?

If we exceed the $3.5 Million, we will celebrate!
If we don’t hit our target, Red Brush leadership is diligently looking at financing options to borrow the remaining amount to complete this project. We have seen God’s faithfulness shine through numerous times as a church when we step out in faith, and we believe he will do it again!

What if I’ve never given to Red Brush before, what should I do? How do I set up my “Next Building Campaign” giving?

This campaign is the perfect time to start! If you are invested in Red Brush or looking to make it your home, we would love for you to be a part of our mission going forward. It takes everyone! To set up your online gift go to redbrushcc.org/give. From this page, you can select “NEXT Building Campaign” to start giving to the campaign.
If you already give to Red Brush’s general fund, thank you! You can automate your building campaign contribution in the same way. If you would like to give via check please note “NEXT Building Project” in the memo line. If you have questions, Cait Mosesly,  our Operations Manager, will gladly assist you with your generosity.

Please pray that this project goes smoothly and that it helps us reach more people for God’s kingdom—because it’s all about the NEXT person. If you choose to partner financially, you can give a one-time gift or commit to giving over the next three years. Giving options include monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or a one-time payment.
